Colorado Star Travis Hunter Said All The Right Things After Win Over Utah

Travis Hunter knows what is important.

Colorado Buffaloes receiver and defensive back Travis Hunter helped lead his team to a 49-24 win over the Utah Utes on Saturday. Hunter helped Colorado improve to 8-2 overall and 6-1 in Big 12 conference play. Colorado did not take long to get its offense rolling in Boulder in Week 12.

The Buffaloes scored two touchdowns in the first quarter to jump out to a 14-3 lead after holding Utah's offense to a field goal. Colorado scored another touchdown in the second quarter and went into halftime up 21-9 after the defense held Utah to two more field goals. Hunter did not score a touchdown until the fourth quarter, but it was not how he usually did it.



Hunter scored the first rushing touchdown of his college career on a five-yard double end-around play. Hunter's touchdown was one of Colorado's four in the second half. Colorado star Travis Hunter scores his first rushing touchdown of his career.

Hunter highlighted the importance of playing better football down the stretch and said that it was a "terrible" game for Colorado. The Colorado star understood how crucial that is for the Buffaloes with the Big 12 title race so tight. After Colorado's win, three Big 12 teams have a 7-2 record.

twitter.com/iedv5eQ9bI Hunter had 55 receiving yards, five rushing yards, and one touchdown on offense. Defensively, he had one fumble recovery, one interception, and three total tackles.

Colorado faces the Kansas Jayhawks next on Nov. 23. Kickoff is at 3:30 p.
