Colorado Springs police investigate alleged break-in

Colorado Springs police are looking for at least two people suspected of breaking into a home and firing a gun over the weekend, according to an online blotter entry. At about midnight Sunday, officers responded to a shots-fired call in the 11000 block of Wildwood Ridge Drive, a few miles east of the Air Force Academy, officials said. Investigators learned that at least two people broke into a vehicle, found a garage door opener and used it to open a garage.

When a resident went to check on the noise, at least one of the suspects fired several shots, hitting the house, before leaving in a dark-colored vehicle, police said. No injuries were reported, and no suspect information was given..
