Collison-led €40m investment will push Weston Airport to challenge for business travel market

Photo: Getty Weston Airport’s current lack of instrument landing capabilities will not disrupt the ambitions of a John Collison-led €40m investment into the facility, according to its chief executive. Derick Walshe, who is now CEO of the west Dublin airport and also part of the group of investors alongside the Stripe founder who bought it, says he is confident that the crucial instrument landing system will be in place later this year.
