College Volleyball: Ridgewater Warriors need 4 sets to top Anoka-Ramsey Golden Rams

Warriors pick up their 2nd win of the season, 21-25, 26-24, 25-14, 25-20

COON RAPIDS — The Ridgewater volleyball team earned its second victory of the season by beating Anoka-Ramsey Community College on Friday night. The Warriors beat the Golden Rams, 21-25, 26-24, 25-14, 25-20. Rachel Jakel led Ridgewater with 15 kills and Emma Kallillo had 50 set assists, 16 digs and four ace serves.

Ellie Moulton had 12 kills, Martha Steinhagen added 10 and Eben Overcash contributed nine. Jakel is a freshman from Renville County West. Kallillo is a sophomore from Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted.



Moulton is a freshman from Staples-Motley. Steinhagen is a freshman from Southwest Christian. Overcash is a freshman from Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg.

Ridgewater, 0-6 in the Minnesota College Athletic Conference South Division and 2-9 overall, is host to Minnesota State-Fergus Falls at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
