Fox Sports' Colin Cowherd had a couple of pretty bold predictions on his Friday show. But one of them could alter the trajectories of two franchises if he's right. On yesterday's edition of The Herd , Cowherd did his "Blazin' 5" picks for the coming weekend of NFL football and predicted two notable upsets.

The first was the New York Giants scoring a road upset over the heavily favored Cleveland Browns, 24-23. However, his biggest one was the Kansas City Chiefs losing as road favorites to the Atlanta Falcons, 27-24. For the Falcons game, Cowherd explained that it's the first Chiefs road game of the season and the Falcons have played surprisingly well this season.

He also dismissed the notion that Kirk Cousins falls apart in primetime, pointing out that Cousins has completed over 70-percent of his passes in his last four primetime games. The Falcons beating the Chiefs would certainly be a massive upset. Atlanta looked meek in their Week 1 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers and needed a last second touchdown pass in order to squeak by the Philadelphia Eagles this past week.

But the Chiefs haven't exactly been rolling on all cylinders to start the season either. After beating Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1, they only managed to eke out a win over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 2 thanks to a questionable penalty inside the final minute. A Chiefs loss would immediately have people questioning whether they've been more lucky than good. Who do you think gets the win in that game? Related: Bengals Cornerback Not Impressed By Chiefs Rookie Xavier Worthy.
