BALLET dancing tots have helped raise more than £20,000 with a six day danceathon. Babyballet Colchester helped raise the money for Tommy's charity. The school offers four stages of ballet classes for young children, aged six months to six years and all ages got involved in the challenge.
Babyballet Colchester are supporting Tommy's charity (Image: Babyballet Colchester) Tommy’s is the UK's leading pregnancy charity and funds research into pregnancy problems, as well as provides pregnancy health information. In support of the charity, Babyballet held classes across all sites. The event saw hundreds of young dancers and their families come together to dance with the theme of 'When I Grow Up.

Principal of Babyballet Colchester, Kelly Johnson said: “We are absolutely overwhelmed by the generosity and enthusiasm of our Babyballet stars, their families, and the local community. Lots of participants dressed up for the fundraiser, with the theme being 'when I grow up' (Image: Babyballet Colchester) “The energy in every class was simply incredible, and it was truly heart-warming to see everyone coming together to make a real difference for such an important cause.
” A spokesman for Tommy's charity said: "On behalf of everyone at Tommy's, our doctors, our scientists, our midwives and above all on behalf of all those people to whom your fundraising has brought hope, thank you.
