ZUS Coffee has unveiled Zus Signature, the first store of its kind that brings an elevated yet affordable speciality coffee experience. Located in Taman Paramount, Petaling Jaya in Selangor, this store marks a bold step in making speciality coffee more accessible in Malaysia, with a focus on craftsmanship, ingredient quality and innovation. The store and its cups carry a signature 55° diagonal line inspired by the “Z” logo, symbolising a subtle yet powerful nod to movement, progress and refinement.
While coffee bean blends ensure consistency at large, Zus Signature exclusively features single origin espresso (SOE), a hallmark of high-end speciality cafes due to its scarcity. The store highlights premium SOE Brazil and SOE Ethiopia, expertly roasted and brewed to showcase their distinct tasting notes. A commitment to fair trade sourcing and sustainability supports coffee-growing regions such as Brazil, Ethiopia, Kenya, Colombia and Guatemala.
In line with the brand’s tech-driven approach, the Victoria Arduino Eagle One, a sophisticated espresso machine used in the World Latte Art Competition, is embedded into the store’s operations to maintain consistency in every cup. The store offers freshly baked pastries that pair well with its speciality coffee drinks. “At Zus Coffee, we believe that great coffee is a necessity, not a luxury,” said Zus Coffee co-founder and head of barista Terence Ho.
“Now, Zus Signature is where a necessity meets luxury – a space where coffee connoisseurs can experience the highest level of craftsmanship, from the finest beans to innovative flavours that push the boundaries of speciality coffee culture. “Our handpicked team of baristas transforms premium, high-quality single-origin beans into speciality coffee beverages that embody the essence of Zus Coffee’s innovative spirit,” he added. The store also offers a curated menu of innovative beverages made with premium ingredients and unique flavour pairings, as well as freshly baked pastries.
It includes the Zeriously Matcha Latte made with 100% stone-ground artisanal Japanese matcha, and Yuzu Thunder in which yuzu’s acidity complements the complexity of an espresso shot. All-time favourites such as CEO Latte, Spanish Latte and Gula Melaka Latte remain available to customers. Zus Signature also has a store located in Sunway Pyramid (Oasis entrance).
