WARNING: This article contains major spoilers from Cobra Kai. Cobra Kai season six, part two, is out but when will the karate drama return for part three? Last year, Netflix subscribers received the mixed news that Cobra Kai had been renewed for a final sixth series, concluding the story that has been unfolding since 2018. Although the season was scheduled to premiere in 2023, Cobra Kai was delayed due to last year's actors and writers' strikes in Hollywood, causing disruptions across the entertainment industry.
Fortunately, the hiatus ended in July with the release of part one of season six, and now part two has been released on the streaming platform on Friday, November 15. As fans binge-watch the latest batch of karate-centric drama, many are eager to know when the rest of the series will be available. Unfortunately, there has been no official announcement regarding the exact release date for Cobra Kai season six, part three, on Netflix.
The only confirmed detail about a return date is that the story won't continue until sometime in 2025. Considering there was approximately a four-month gap between parts one and two, part three of this final season could be released sometime in March. While the first five seasons consisted of 10 episodes each, season six has been expanded to an impressive 15, with each part comprising five episodes.
Speaking to Today, Cobra Kai co-creator Hayden Schlossberg spilled the beans on the innovative narrative structure of the show, revealing: "The fact is, every season of the show up until now, we write in five-episode story arcs. "We always think in five-episode chunks, so we're like, why not just separate it into five episodes, have almost three mini-seasons, like an Act 1, Act 2, Act 3. "It's enough to sit down and watch everything.
And then a few months later, you get another, and then after that, the same." The buzz is that all key players will return for the final segment of season six, except for Brandon H. Lee as Kwon.
In a shocking turn of events during the sixth series' part two finale, chaos erupts at the tournament with dojos clashing furiously in the arena. John Kreese (Martin Kove) loses his knife during the madness and after being thrown down to the ground by Iron Dragons' Axel (Patrick Luwis), Kwon has had enough. He spots the knife on the ground and gears up to attack Axel but ends up accidentally fatally stabbing himself.
But how is Kwon's death going to impact all of the dojos going forward in part three? Cobra Kai is available to watch on Netflix..
