WARNING: This article contains major spoilers from Cobra Kai. Cobra Kai season six, part two, is out but when will the karate drama make a comeback for part three? Last year, Netflix subscribers were given the bittersweet news that Cobra Kai had been renewed for a sixth and last series, rounding off the story which has been playing out since 2018. While the season was meant to premiere in 2023, Cobra Kai was put on hold due to last year’s actors and writers’ strikes in Hollywood, causing problems across the entertainment industry.

Thankfully, the dry spell came to an end in July with part one of season six and now part two has been released on the streamer on Friday, November 15. As fans binge-watch their way through the latest batch of karate-focussed drama, many are curious to know when it will be back for the rest of the series to play out. So far, there has sadly been no word on an exact release date for Cobra Kai season six, part three, on Netflix.

All that’s been confirmed in regards to a return date is that the story won’t be continued until sometime in 2025. Given there was roughly a four-month gap between parts one and two, part three of this final outing could be released sometime in March. While the first five outings were made up of 10 episodes each, series six has been extended to a whopping 15 with each part consisting of five episodes.

Opening up to Today, Cobra Kai co-creator Hayden Schlossberg explained why the show needed to be split into three, rather than in one go or in two. He shared: "The fact is, every season of the show up until now, we write in five-episode story arcs. "Usually, we start off a season that builds to a midseason climax in episode five that kicks things off to a second half of the season.

"We always think in five-episode chunks, so we're like, why not just separate it into five episodes, have almost three mini-seasons, like an Act 1, Act 2, Act 3. "It's enough to sit down and watch everything. And then a few months later, you get another, and then after that, the same.

" It is believed that all of the main cast for season six will be returning for the third and final part, apart from Kwon star Brandon H. Lee. In the final episode of series six, part two, it was mayhem at the tournament with all of the dojos fighting one another in the arena.

Unfortunately, John Kreese (played by Martin Kove) dropped his knife and after being humiliated and thrown to the floor by Iron Dragons’ Axel (Patrick Luwis), Kwon picked it up, ready to stab him. However, their fight ended with Kwon accidentally fatally stabbing himself but what will his death mean for all of the dojos? Cobra Kai is available to watch on Netflix..
