A Coatbridge chippy has been named as serving the 'best fish supper' in the west of Scotland . Restaurateurs from all over the country gathered in Glasgow on Monday evening for The Scottish Fish & Chips Awards, which champion the best chippies delivering the iconic fish dish. While there were no Glasgow winners, the nearby Tony's Fish and Chip Shop in Shawhead picked up the gong for Best Fish Supper (West).
