Login The Coalition says its plan to build seven nuclear power plants will cost $263 billion less than Labor’s renewable energy policy by 2050, with its modelling suggesting this will lead to considerably lower electricity bills. The long-awaited costings conducted by Frontier Economics for the Coalition, to be released on Friday by Opposition Leader Peter Dutton and energy spokesman Ted O’Brien, estimates the construction and operation of the nuclear plants will deliver net zero by 2050 and cost $331 billion.
