Lady Gaga, Travis Scott, Green Day and Post Malone will headline the 2025 Coachella festival, promoters confirmed Wednesday in a complete lineup reveal. The 24th installment of the desert festival will take place at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, Calif., on the weekends of April 11-13 and April 18-20.
Also on the lineup are Missy Elliot, Megan Thee Stallion, Charli XCX, Anitta, Benson Boone, FKA Twigs, Clairo, Zedd, Junior H, Jennie, Glorilla, Lisa, Mustard, Ivan Cornejo, Kraftwerk, Shaboozey, The Go-Gos and many more. The “Original Misfits” are on the bill for Saturday. And after canceling her set at the 2024 festival, Tyla is scheduled to play on Friday.
Post Malone inadvertently confirmed his appearance at the festival on Tuesday after making the announcement for his 2025 “ Big Ass Stadium Tour ” that included unannounced dates for Coachella. This will be his first time as a headliner since he previously performed in 2018, and has made several guest appearances over the years (most recently with Bad Bunny in 2022). He performed as a headliner for Stagecoach this year.
This is Gaga’s second time as a Coachella headliner, following her appearance in 2017. Gaga filled in for a pregnant Beyoncé, who’d been booked for Coachella but pulled out months before the festival on the advice of her doctor. Green Day will play Coachella as a band for the first time, although frontman Billie Joe Armstrong performed as part the Replacements in 2014.
Scott is billed as the fourth headliner, occupying the same floating spot that No Doubt did in 2024. In a press release, Scott’s representatives state he is slated to headline the main stage on Saturday night “where he will debut an entirely new era of music to the world.” Scott was scheduled to headline in 2020 before the festival was canceled due to the pandemic.
He was booked again in 2022, but was taken off the lineup following the fatal crowd crush at his own Astroworld Festival in 2021. Scott has seen recent success on a global tour supporting his chart-topping “Utopia” album (also the best-selling rap album of 2023) with concerts across the United States, the UK and Europe. This year’s festival was headlined by Lana Del Rey, Doja Cat, No Doubt and Tyler, the Creator.
