CNG price up by 90 paise/kg

Pune: The price of CNG in Pune city has increased by 90 paise per kg. "The earlier price of CNG for Pune city was Rs85 per kg. The new rate, effective from midnight (Monday after 12midnight), will be Rs85.

9 per kg," Ali Daruwalla, president of All India Petrol Dealers' Association, said. Maharashtra Natural Gas Limited ( MNGL ) officials confirmed the same. "Retail prices of CNG in Pune city and Pimpri Chinchwad and adjusters of Chakan, Talegaon and Hinjewadi will see an increase of 90 paise per kg, including taxes.



The current price is CNG is Rs85 per kg, which will increase to Rs85.9 per kg. Due to the increase in volumes of the CNG segment and the increasing requirement for blending more proportion of market-priced/imported natural gas, the input gas cost has increased.

The domestic piped natural gas price will remain the same," a press release issued by MNGL said..
