CHAPIN - Clyde Cecil Dean Jr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, of Chapin, S.C.
, passed away on March 12, 2025, due to complications from cancer at home. He was the husband of Julia Lebednik Dean for 40 years and the son of the late Clyde C. Dean and Katherine Dean.
A memorial service with military honors will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 16, 2025, at First Baptist Church of Orangeburg, with Rev.
Ryan Tucker and Rev. Jerry French officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
In addition to his wife of the home, Clyde is survived by his three children, Amber Koester (Tyler), Clyde Cecil Dean III, and Richard Andrew Dean; two grandchildren, Lawson Koester and Ella Grace Koester; sisters, Linda Smith (Gene), Stephanie D. Spigner (Ronnie), and Carla P. Dean; and brother, Robert E.
