Clutch Coffee opening second store in Winston-Salem

Clutch Coffee will have a $1 drink special all day Nov. 2.

Clutch Coffee will open its second Winston-Salem location on Nov. 2 at 289 S. Stratford Road at the intersection with Oakwood Drive – at the former site of the Kangaroo Express/Exxon Mobil gas station.

The new location will be strictly for drive-thru service. Hours on Nov. 2 will be 8 a.



m. to 8 p.m.

Regular hours, beginning Nov. 3, will be 5 a.m.

to 9 p.m. daily Clutch Coffee will have a $1 drink special all day Nov.

2. Clutch Coffee was founded in Mooresville in 2018 by partners Darren Spicer, John Anderson and Jake Vandermeer. It opened its first Winston-Salem location at 5709 University Parkway in 2020.

It now has 14 locations, including ones in Clemmons and Greensboro. The store sells "amped" coffee drinks, each with the option of hot, iced, or frozen; as well as classic coffee and espresso drinks, fruit smoothies, shakes, teas, and custom energy drinks. People are also reading.
