Signage has gone up to reveal a new location for Korea House BBQ restaurant in Beeston. The Asian eatery, which opened in High Road, in the town seven years ago, has taken over the former premises of the Lobster Pot in Villa Street. The seafood restaurant closed at the end of September despite three more years on the lease as rising prices had made it unprofitable.
But it hasn't taken long for the empty restaurant to be taken over. Korea House is known for its authentic barbecue dishes of bulgogi beef and chicken, pork belly with salt and pepper, beef ribs and eel. Rice dish bimibap is a favourite, served with beef, chicken, seafood and tofu.
The restaurant hasn't released any details about when the new site will be opening. Recent reviews are mostly positive. One customer said: "It was a wonderful experience to BBQ my food while dining at this restaurant.
.. the food is flavourful and more importantly for me, truly traditional! Easily one of my favourite Oriental restaurants.
