Cloudy skies today but drying out across the region

Today will be another day with slow warming temperatures due to an abundance of clouds throughout the region, but we look to stay dry for the rest of the week.

Today we continue a cloudy stretch throughout southeast Minnesota. A few clear spots will have moved on through overnight, letting morning lows dip into the 30s, but throughout the day we stay cloudy for much of the region. Highs top out in the upper 40s then this afternoon, with winds remaining light and variable throughout the day.

Tonight temperatures will drop off with clear skies once again, with overnight lows dropping down into the 30s. Throughout the day tomorrow, it looks to be rather pleasant, with a good amount of sun shining on throughout the region and highs peaking near 50° in the afternoon. ADVERTISEMENT As we wrap up the week, we do see more clouds returning for Friday evening, but that will be after a mix of sunshine and clouds throughout the day with highs in the 50s.
