Clouds moving out but staying cool through the day

Temperatures cool down today to stay seasonable in the 60s, with a north breeze staying light this afternoon.

Clouds look to linger about southeast Minnesota this morning after the chances of rain moved out of the region overnight. While we will get a glimpse of the sun through the clouds today, with the clouds clearing to mostly sunny skies by the afternoon. Temperatures will feel much more like autumn this afternoon, with highs topping out in the 60s throughout the region.

Winds will also be a bit brisk, but not too gusty, sustaining at around 5-15 mph through the afternoon with a couple spots getting slightly breezier. To start the week, we are still tracking a couple of cooler days hovering around 70°. Tomorrow sees plenty of sun to start the week as the winds begin to shift back to out of the east and remain rather calm.



Then by Tuesday, we see a couple more clouds move on through the region, but we still get some sun throughout the day. For the rest of the week though, we are tracking a return to some warmer temperatures, as by Wednesday we see plenty of sunshine, and temperatures get closer to 80° by the end of the week.
