Today’s weather: Cool, sunny Good morning, it's Thursday and we are just one day away from the weekend. Clear skies today and tomorrow before the powerful storm up north makes its way to the Southland, but forecasters say we won't see the same dangerous weather conditions. As the National Weather Service alerted us yesterday with their Crispy Skin Alert, today will be the driest day of the week, so don't forget to moisturize.
The Inland Empire will feel warmer today as temperatures rise to the upper 70s, and even up to 80 degrees in Temecula. Meanwhile, the valleys will see highs in the mid 70s. Highs for the inland coast will remain in the low 70s, and we are looking at highs in the 60s for coastal cities and beaches.
In the high desert, temperatures will reach the upper 60s, and in the upper 70s in the low desert. Tonight's lows will drop to the mid 40s to low 50s except for the high desert where the overnight lows will be chillier in the low 30s. We're looking at about three quarters of an inch of rain Saturday evening, then drier conditions Sunday morning.
