Going over it with a lawn mower and adding some mulch to bring it back to life might be part of your annual garden maintenance, but not everyone has real grass in their garden. A great option for those who prefer a low-maintenance gardening routine, faux lawns provide year-round greenery without constant need for mowing and general maintenance.



A hardy surface that’s great for families with kids and pets, it also requires less water and is easy to clean. While it may be easier to care for, it’s still important to give it a spring clean every now and then to keep it looking fresh. Although faux lawns are generally more weather-resistant, they should be treated gently when it comes to cleaning.

But be sure to avoid using harsh chemicals like solvents or bleach, and anything with metal bristles that could lead to irreversible damage. Start cleaning by removing any leaves or twigs that have accumulated over the winter.
