CLAREMORE, Okla. — The Claremore Police Department are warning about a scam involving calls from a suspect impersonating a police officer. Claremore PD said they've received reports from multiple people claiming to have received phone calls from someone identifying themselves as SGT Jordan Holland from the Claremore Police Department.

The caller then threatens the person answering the phone with arrest if they don't pay the fee for an unpaid ticket or fine. According to the Claremore Police Department, an officer will never call and ask for payment or threaten you with arrest if you do not send payment. They advise that if you receive a phone call like this to simply hang up.
