Civil servant among four held over child abuse content, 50,000 images seized

KUALA LUMPUR: A civil servant, a web designer, and an accountant are among four individuals arrested following a joint crackdown on the possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material.Deputy Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay said investigations found that they had a total of over 50,000 images and videos in their possession."These arrests were made following a joint operation led by the Singapore police between Feb 24 and Mar 28, involving Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea, and Japan," he told reporters today.
