City's Planning Commission to look at Brickworks preliminary plan, westside library site

Frederick's Planning Commission will consider two prominent projects at its meeting Tuesday, including the preliminary subdivision of a property on the city's eastern side that is expected to be the site of more than 1,200 homes. The commission will consider a preliminary plat proposal for the Brickworks site, which would bring 1,260 residential units and 130,000 square feet of retail space to 64 acres along Frederick's East and South streets, and Monocacy Boulevard.
