Citroen India has introduced the Dark Edition of its popular models — C3, C3 Aircross and Basalt. This latest edition is only reserved for the top trims, including the C3 Shine, Aircross Max and Basalt Max. The first unit of the Citroen Basalt Dark Edition was delivered to the former captain of the Indian cricket team, Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
This Dark Edition of the lineup includes several new themes for the exterior and interior. Citroen Dark Edition: Prices The Citroen C3 Dark Edition comes with a starting price tag of ₹8,38,300 (ex-showroom) while the Citroen Aircross Dark Edition is available for a starting price of ₹13,13,300 (ex-showroom). The Basalt Dark Edition has a starting price of ₹12.
28 lakh (ex-showroom). Citroen Basalt Dark Edition: Details The Citroen Basalt Dark Edition comes with the same 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine as the other variants.
It produces 109 bhp and 205 Nm of torque. It boasts various notable black theme elements, such as a lower IP change from Lama to Carbon Black and a front grill embellisher. The Basalt Dark Edition also features black elements similar to the C3 and Aircross, such as a dark chrome grille with signature double Chevron emblem, rear badging, leatherette front/rear seats, high gloss black gear lever bezel and door armrests with Lava Red detailing.
Citroen Aircross Dark Edition: Details The Citroen Aircross is powered by a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine that produces 109 bhp and 205 Nm of torque. This model is based on the max trim and features a few blacked-out theme elements similar to the C3.
The Aircross Dark Edition also has a high gloss black gear lever bezel, leatherette wrapping with Lava Red Detailing for IP, side body moulding inserts, a blacked-out high console, front/rear seats and door armrests, bottle storage, an IP lower panel, ambient and footwell lighting, among others. 2-litre turbo petrol engines available as options. It is based on the Shine variant and features a dark chrome grille with signature double chevron logo, Dark Edition Badge, front chevron and rear Citroen logos, model badging, brand lettering, leatherette wrapping with red stitch (IP & door armrests), glossy black accents around AC vents and gear lever, seat belt cushions, ambient and footwell lights, and an illuminated sill plate.
