Circle K launches unique new item inspired by iconic takeaway dish at ALL deli counters for ‘quick lunch or dinner’

CIRCLE K has launched a new deli item that brings a unique twist to one of Ireland's most beloved takeaway dishes. The spicebag has been a staple of every Chinese takeaway restaurant menu in Dublin for over a decade and has made its way onto menus across the country in takeaways and deli counters. And Circle K has decided to spice things up even further with a Spice Bag Wrap hitting the shelves this week.

The exciting new addition to menus across Circle K's delis will include all the key ingredients that we know and love in a spice bag, on a tortilla wrap. The wrap will include a succulent salt and chilli chicken fillet, chips, and mixed peppers and is topped with a tasty chipotle sauce. The convenient way to enjoy the iconic dish is now available across all Circle K's deli menus.



The Spice Bag Wrap starts at €6 and comes as part of a meal deal with a drink or can be upgraded to a hot beverage for €1. Circle K's Gillian McGowran said the item is the perfect 'on-the-go' addition to their menu. McGowran said: "At Circle K, our goal is to keep innovating to provide customers with a strong variety of high-quality options.

"Our spicier deli menu items are amongst our most popular nationwide and there’s not many ‘on the go’ meals that spice up our lives as much as Ireland’s infamous spice bag. "We strive to make it easy for our customers to have great tasting food, drinks, and snacks, conveniently in one place and at great value. "Our new spice bag wrap will make a great new addition to our existing meal deal offering.

’" This comes as O'Donnell's has introduced the latest addition to the Crinkle Cut Furrows family - and fans are loving it. O'Donnells has confirmed the launch of their new Classic Prawn Cocktail flavor. The O’Donnell family hails from Seskin Farm, Co.

Tipperary and has over 300 years of expertise. And this new flavour is welcomed to their beloved crinkle cut range. O'Donnells explained that the range is inspired by the "deep grooves of the furrows" ploughed on their family farm when the potato seeds are sown.

The family has been passing down the crisp knowledge through seven generations and "perfecting the art" of potato growing. And O’Donnells Crinkle Cut Furrows are now available in five mouth-watering flavours. These included Ballymaloe Relish and Cheddar Cheese, Sour Cream and Onion and Mature Cheddar and Red Onion.

The range also included an Irish Cider Vinegar and Sea Salt flavour and its most recent addition, the Classic Prawn Cocktail.
