The popular Housefull franchise is set to return with its fifth installment, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. Known for its comedic flair, Housefull 5 will boast a star-studded cast headlined by Akshay Kumar. The film will bring together seasoned actors including Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Nana Patekar, Chunky Panday, Jackie Shroff and Dino Morea.
Additionally, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Sonam Bajwa, Chitrangda Singh and Soundarya Sharma are also expected to join the ensemble in prominent roles. Reportedly, production for Housefull 5 began on September 15 in London, where the first 45 days of shooting will occur. Chunky Pandey, reprising his comedic role as Aakhri Pasta, has already shared some behind-the-scenes glimpses from the set, marking the start of filming.
On September 17, Chunky posted a series of pictures on Instagram, giving fans a sneak peek of the team’s London shoot. In one image, he is seen at a train station with co-star Johnny Lever, enjoying a casual moment. Another photo features him sharing a meal with veteran actor Ranjeet, both smiling for the camera.

The movie is scheduled for theatrical release on June 6, 2025, production banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment said in a statement. The Housefull series began in 2010 and has since seen three successful sequels – Housefull 2 in 2012, Housefull 3 in 2016 and Housefull 4 in 2019.
