6, 2024. Born on July 12, 1973, Christopher was known for his compassionate nature and unwavering support for those around him. He was a devoted family man who cherished every moment spent with his loved ones, whether they were enjoying outdoor adventures or simply watching movies together.
Christopher had a deep love for the outdoors, frequently spending his days fishing, hunting, and camping, creating lasting memories with family and friends. Christopher’s professional journey began alongside his father, Roger Sr., working at U.
S. Embassies in Russia and Singapore. He later transitioned to the oil fields as an industrial painter, where he took great pride in his work.
His hands-on skills continued to shine as he enjoyed doing small handyman jobs with his son, Roger. Christopher is survived by his loving wife, Erica Leigh Corbello; his children, Roger Paul Corbello, Sarah Christine Corbello Guillory, and Dylan Gabe Marshall Corbello; and his cherished grandchildren, Emma Marie Guillory and Cecelia Diane Louise Guillory. He is also survived by his mother, Jennifer Diane Walker Guillory; his brother, Roger Dale Corbello Jr.
; his uncle, Paul D. Plaisance Jr. of Rio Rancho, N.
M.; and several aunts and uncles, including his godmother, Paula Corbello Keeley. He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Dale Corbello Sr.
; his step-father, Jimmy Guillory; and his beloved grandparents, Alfred and Vivian Corbello, Laura Mae Sherman, Dr. Ralph Walker, and Paul and Jerri Plaisance. Visitation will be held on Sunday, Nov.
17, 2024 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.
m. at Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles, with the first hour reserved for immediate family. Services will resume on Monday, Nov.
18, 2024 with a smaller visitation beginning at 9 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11 a.
m., also at Hixson Funeral Home. Christopher Corbello will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those he loved.
His legacy of kindness and compassion will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him..
