January 2, 1947—March 10, 2025 Christine Bond, 78, died on March 10, 2024, after a battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband, James; her son, Dalton (Carrie) Bond; her grandson, Jace (Sarah) Bond; her sister, Tamsen Hoffman; her sister, Donna (Al) Fleming; along with numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Christine Louise (Cline) Bond was born to Chester and Marcella Cline on January 2, 1947, in Seattle, Wash.

She was the youngest of three girls. In 1952 the Cline family moved to the Winlock, Wash. area.



Christine graduated from Winlock High School in 1965. She married James Bond on August 14, 1965. They were married for 59 years.

Christine was an active person all her life. She loved riding horses, camping, hiking and gardening. She flew into the Idaho wilderness area and served as camp cook for her husband and son on their many hunting expeditions.

She was a very good cook and enjoyed making pies for her family and friends. She was a deeply spiritual person and an active Jehovah’s Witness her entire life. She enjoyed teaching others the truths contained in the Bible about God’s promise of a future resurrection, where we all look forward to seeing her happy and healthy again.

There will be a memorial service held on Saturday, April 19th at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 115 Studebaker Road, Castle Rock, Wash.
