Chrishell Stause’s latest Instagram post promoting her stint on the upcoming season of The Traitors is raising eyebrows. The Selling Sunset star, 43, took to social media on Friday, November 22 to share a series of promotional snaps from season 3 via her Instagram – with one glaring omission. While Stause’s fellow Traitors contestants , including Sam Asghari, Dylan Efron and Nikki Garcia, appeared in the post, Tom Sandoval was noticeably missing from the line-up.

The omission has left fans scratching their heads over whether the Vanderpump Rules star’s exclusion was intentional or not, given there is no well-known feud between the pair. While it’s possible the reality stars could have butted heads while filming the show, which is slated to return to Peacock in January 2025, Stause’s followers speculated Sandoval’s past scandal may be to blame for the snub. Sandoval made headlines in March 2023 when he split from longtime partner Ariana Madix following an affair with their Vanderpump Rules costar Rachel “Raquel” Leviss.

Bravo fans had been following Sandoval and Madix’s relationship onscreen since 2014. A post shared by Chrishell (@chrishell.stause) Some of Stause’s followers alluded to the incident, speculating that the Selling Sunset star may be “Team Ariana” amid the drama.

“Omg if you blocked off Sandoval’s face in the last slide...

ICONIC BEHAVIOR 🔥” wrote one follower. Another added, “Now I KNOW Chrishell is team Ariana 😌✨ icons supporting icons.” After being caught out for cheating, Sandoval, 42, later publicly apologized to Madix via social media in a lengthy post.

“I want to first and foremost apologize to everyone I’ve hurt through this process. Most of all, I want to apologize to Ariana,” he wrote via Instagram in March 2023. “I made mistakes, I was selfish and made reckless decisions that hurt somebody I love.

No one deserves to feel that pain so traumatically and publicly.” The Vanderpump Rules star continued: “I can only imagine how devastating this has been for Ariana and everyone around us. I feel really horrible about that.

My biggest regret is that I dishonored Ariana. I never meant to disappoint so many people, including our loving families and friends.” Sandoval added that many of the ups and downs of their nine-year relationship weren’t captured by the cameras.

The same goes for some of our biggest struggles.” The TomTom co-owner told fans that he wished his history with Madix “was not severely tarnished,” adding, “[I wish] it ended with the same respect for her that it began with. I owed Ariana better.
