While most actors dream of collaborating with him, it is none other than Chiranjeevi who once refused to work with the ace filmmaker.
Once, in a conversation with Anupama Chopra, during the promotions of his film Chiranjeevi explained a shocking reason behind not wanting to work with the Baahubali director. The megastar stated how Rajamouli takes ample time to shoot one film, while he can finish multiple movies within the same time. Chiranjeevi said, “The amount of time Rajamouli is taking, I am not sure if I can deliver it or not.
He spends ample time on a film and he travels for 4-5 years. I am shooting for four films at a time. Working on a film at this point of time for 3-4 years is not viable.
” He further mentioned that he doesn’t need to prove himself as a pan-India star by working with Rajamouli alone. “Working with SS Rajamouli and proving myself at a pan-India level is not my wish. That is the reason I told that I cannot work with him.
” Chiranjeevi said. While Chiranjeevi hasn’t worked with SS Rajamouli yet, his son Ram Charan already collaborated with the visionary director for , carving an unparallel success on the global level. Meanwhile, SS Rajamouli is busy shooting the next globetrotter titled , featuring Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
