The Kansas City Chiefs are 6-0 despite key injuries to offensive weapons. Rashee Rice's injury left them thin at the position. They traded for DeAndre Hopkins to lessen the blow, but may not be done adding players.

While outlining free agent receivers the Chiefs should take a chance on, FanSided's Shawn O'Brate urged the Chiefs to sign Chase Claypool. "I know, I know. Claypool has been a cancer on every team he's been on.

Luckily, Reid has been known to rehabilitate bad behavior and cocky attitudes and he's worked wonders for maligned talents in years past," wrote O'Brate. "Claypool is amazingly only 26 years old. He's also 6'4" and had his two best seasons when he was positioned right next to Smith-Schuster on the field, so a reunion between the two could bring out the best in the former Notre Dame superstar.

" Claypool has been on three teams already in his career. He has built a reputation as a receiver that disrupts more than he produces. However, he was once a promising young player for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He has 2,261 yards and 13 touchdowns in his four years in the league. Last season he played nine games for the Miami Dolphins. The addition of Hopkins should help the Chiefs, but Claypool would be a low-risk signing.

The Chiefs have already seen Kareem Hunt produce after they signed him when no other team wanted to. He has taken over as the lead back in the absence of Isiah Pacheco. More NFL: Chiefs could swing another blockbuster trade to land $25 million Pro Bowler.
