The Kansas City Chiefs fell to the Buffalo Bills in a Week 11 matchup on Sunday evening, marking the reigning Super Bowl champions' first loss of the 2024 NFL season. On Monday, the franchise got right to work on improving its already-talented roster. The Chiefs signed former New England Patriots second-round wide receiver Tyquan Thornton to their practice squad, giving them yet another speedy option in the passing game.

Thornton wowed NFL scouts at the 2022 Draft Combine, running an electrifying 4.28 40-yard dash. But through his first professional seasons with the Patriots, he never caught on as a viable offensive weapon.
