Chick-fil-A is gearing up to open a new Calgary restaurant this spring

Just months after opening its first standalone Calgary location, Chick-fil-A has revealed that another outpost is in the works.The Georgia-based chicken sandwich chain is opening a brand-new location in Calgary, and this time, it’s heading to the East Hills neighbourhood.Chick-fil-A’s new YYC spot will be located at 75 East Hills Blvd. S.E. and is slated to open this spring. The spot will be locally owned and operated by Paul Bustard. The new restaurant, which includes a drive-thru, will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday.Hype for the chicken spot has been intense, with its first location on Calgary’s Macleod Trail having diners willing to wait in line for 12 hours to be the first in line to get their hands on Chick-fil-A’s signature chicken sandwiches, waffle fries and handspun milkshakes,After opening two locations in Edmonton and one in Calgary last year, Chick-fil-A is showing no signs of slowing down its rapid expansion across Alberta.
