Chicagoans are bracing for a rollercoaster of weather conditions this weekend. The National Weather Service forecasts scattered showers today and potential thunderstorms tonight, as temperatures may reach a comfortable high near 71 degrees. Meanwhile, gusty winds up to 30 mph could add some unpredictability to the mix, as detailed by the National Weather Service.
Isolated to widely scattered showers are expected at times today though many areas will remain dry. Attention then turns to the potential for severe weather on Sunday. After a cold start to the work week, shower and storm chances return toward the middle of next week.
