The horror thriller has been grabbing attention ever since the announcement. Well, looks like Soha is in a negative role and Nushrratt is fighting against time to protect her daughter from superstition.

The video opens with a woman narrating a story to a girl child. Nushratt Bharuccha is seen locked in a room and asking for her daughter. Soha enters the room with evil looks.



As the video proceeds, the scene gets intense and village people are seen burning girl infants as they only want boys. One of the fans wrote, “Goosebumps what a trailer ,,can’t wait for Gashmeer’s performance #GashmeerMahajani." Another wrote, “n the first part Meets Vashisht was outstanding.

Directed by Vishal Furia, Chhorii 2, Nushrratt Bharuccha will be reprising her role as Sakshi, alongside Soha Ali Khan, who joins the franchise in a pivotal role.

The teaser opens with Nushrratt Bharuccha in the field searching for a child. She can clearly hear voices but cannot find. Her dreams is taking her back to field from where she escaped last time.

It will be interesting to see what secret is now lying back there. Produced by Abundantia Entertainment, the sequel to Chhorii was announced back in 2021. However, an official release date of the film is yet to be announced.

It will premiere on the OTT giant Prime Video. Released in 2021, Chhorii tells the story of Sakshi, a pregnant woman who seeks protection in an isolated village only to be confronted by horrific supernatural forces. The film is a remake of the 2017 Marathi film Lapachhapi.

It delves into problems of societal evils and motherhood while providing spine-chilling horror. Its sequel, Chhorii 2, on the other hand, promises to delve deeper into Sakshi’s haunting experiences. Earlier this month, Nushrratt treated her fans with a couple of BTS pictures from the sets of Chhorii 2.

The first pic features the actress lying on a sofa with blood marks all over her body, while in the next one, she is seen talking to director Vishal Furia. Sharing the pictures on Instagram, she wrote in the caption, “They tried to silence her. She made them listen! Happy Women’s Day from this Chhorii to all other Chhoriis out there! A special thanks to my director, @furia_vishal, for providing me another reason to fight the good fight!".
