Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Chhaava emerged an all-time blockbuster at the box office. While the war period drama has shattered several records and is on the verge of its theatrical run, several publications and sites are sharing that Chhaava has surpassed Jawan and Stree 2 at the ticket windows. Well, here’s the truth.
.. Till now, Chhaava has earned around Rs 596 crore (Hindi) and approximately Rs 15 crore in its Telugu-dubbed version.
So, the grand total of the movie stands around 611 crore. On the other hand, the Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara and Deepika Padukone starrer Jawan, which released in 2023, earned Rs 643 crore (Rs 581 crore in Hindi & Rs 60 crore in Tamil and Telugu versions). Coming to Stree 2 , the 2024 horror-comedy featuring Rajkummar Rao, Abhishek Banerjee, Pankaj Tripathi and Shraddha Kapoor with a cameo of Akshay Kumar, released in the only original Hindi language and earned Rs 627.

However, the Shah Rukh Khan starrer takes the top spot as the highest Bollywood grosser with the help of its Telugu and Tamil-dubbed versions’ collections. Chhaava ’s Hindi collection is more than Jawan , but it won’t be able to surpass the Shah Rukh Khan starrer and Stree 2 as there are hardly any shows, and it will be streaming on Netflix from 11th April.
