Even as new releases step into the arena, Chhaava refuses to back down. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Chhaava continued its dream run at the box office, raking in Rs 7.



38 crore on March 14—its fourth Friday in theatres. As the film wraps up its fourth week, its total earnings for the week stand at Rs 55.95 crore, with the Hindi version contributing Rs 44.

15 crore and the Telugu version adding Rs 11.8 crore to the tally. With a staggering Rs 546.

88 crore domestic total, Chhaava is on the brink of yet another box office milestone! And with the weekend ahead, the numbers are only expected to climb higher. Final figures are still rolling in. On March 14, Chhaava continued its winning streak with a 27.

25 per cent occupancy in Hindi shows and a 22.10 per cent occupancy in Telugu screenings. The film’s earnings saw a boost compared to the previous day, and with the extended weekend ahead, the numbers are only expected to skyrocket even further.

In just 28 days, Chhaava has stormed the box office, collecting a massive Rs 539.50 crore in India! Globally, the film has raked in Rs 731 crore, with Rs 87.50 crore coming from overseas.

Back home, its India gross collection has hit Rs 43.50 crore. Apart from Vicky Kaushal’s gripping performance, the film boasts an ensemble cast featuring Rashmika Mandanna, Diana Penty, Neil Bhoopalam, Ashutosh Rana, and Divya Dutta.

It is directed by Laxman Utekar and released worldwide on February 14, 2025. Chaava is based on Shivaji Sawant’s Marathi novel of the same name. PM Narendra Modi had praised the film during his recent address at the 98th Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan at Vigyan Bhavan in Delhi.
