Cheltenham Confidential - Day One tips: Lizzie Kelly takes on favourite Lossiemouth and picks a huge outsider in the most open race of the day By KATE MCGREAVY Published: 11:57 GMT, 11 March 2025 | Updated: 12:07 GMT, 11 March 2025 e-mail View comments The wait is over. The first day of the Cheltenham Festival 2025 is finally here. More than 65,000 people will pack the stands in the Gloucestershire countryside and millions more will follow the action on TV.
The big race of the day features the magnificent Constitution Hill (4/6) in the feature race - the Champion Hurdle. Grade One and Cheltenham Festival winning jockey Lizzie Kelly and Mail Sport's Dominic King try to find some value as they take on the favourites. Kelly has opted to go against Lossiemouth in the Close Brothers but both are backing Constitution Hill to come out on top.
