Chelsea and Man City now looking at 28-year-old goalkeeper with €20m release clauseBoth Chelsea and Manchester City are reportedly looking at signing a 28-year-old goalkeeper who has a €20m release clause.Chelsea are going to be busy in the upcoming transfer window and they will have a number of deals they will look to be pulling off both outgoing and incoming. Please join us in our Chelsea community where I report all the inside news, exclusives, sourced news, and opinions all about our club!We have been hearing about a host of names that Chelsea could go for in the market again at the end of the season, and the name of Rafa Leao is one creeping back in again, with Chelsea being linked to him a number of times over the years.
Chelsea of course have already completed the deals to sign two players from Sporting, with one of them arriving this summer and the other the following summer. Apparently, Chelsea felt pressure from other top clubs so that’s why they got the deals for Geovany Quenda and Dario Essugo done early in some pre-deals.One position not mentioned that much though is the goalkeeper area, with Chelsea clearly still needing to upgrade there if they are serious.
Chelsea keen on Milinkovic-SavicManchester City have been linked with a move for Torino’s Vanja Milinkovic-Savic over the past few days and Chelsea have also emerged as a potential suitor.TuttoSport have reported that the goalkeeper has a release clause of €20m in his current contract and it will be valid till the end of July. The report claims Chelsea will ‘have no problem’ in triggering Milinkovic-Savic’s release clause, but they will face competition for the 28-year-old stopper from Manchester City.
So it might be an interesting situation to keep an eye on this summer..
