As 2024 draws to a close, several car brands are set to launch new models in December. Honda, Toyota, Kia, and Hyundai are among the companies preparing for launches, with some potentially featuring new debuts. The month promises to bring fresh entries to the market as the year concludes.

December may see fewer new car launches and facelifts, but it will introduce new nameplates and new generations of popular models to the market. Here’s a list of cars set to launch or debut in December 2024. Skoda Kylaq Launch: Today While Skoda has announced the starting price of Rs 7.

The Kylaq is available in four variants - Classic, Signature, Signature Plus, and Prestige. Prices for the model start at Rs 7.89 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Kylaq is based on the brand’s MQB-A0-IN platform and measures less than four metres in length. The new model will compete with already established rivals such as the Hyundai Venue , Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, and Maruti Suzuki Brezza. The Kylaq measures 3,995 mm in length, 1975 mm in width, 1575 mm height and has a 2,566 mm wheelbase with a ground clearance of 189 mm.

The Kylaq is offered with a a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, turbo petrol engine with 115 hp of power and 178 nm of torque. Gearbox options will include a 6-speed torque converter and a 6-speed manual gearbox.

The new Amaze will retain the same engine, a 90hp, 1.2-litre, 4-cyl, NA petrol engine with a choice of a 5-speed manual or CVT automatic transmission. There are no details on the powertrain, it’s expected that it will be shared with the Sonet which includes a 1.2-litre NA petrol, 1.0-litre turbo petrol and a 1.
