As 2024 draws to a close, several car brands are set to launch new models in December. Honda, Toyota, Kia, and Hyundai are among the companies preparing for launches, with some potentially featuring new debuts. The month promises to bring fresh entries to the market as the year concludes.
December may see fewer new car launches and facelifts, but it will introduce new nameplates and new generations of popular models to the market. Here’s a list of cars set to launch or debut in December 2024. Skoda Kylaq Launch: Today While Skoda has announced the starting price of Rs 7.

The Kylaq is available in four variants - Classic, Signature, Signature Plus, and Prestige. Prices for the model start at Rs 7.89 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Kylaq is based on the brand’s MQB-A0-IN platform and measures less than four metres in length. The new model will compete with already established rivals such as the Hyundai Venue , Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, and Maruti Suzuki Brezza. The Kylaq measures 3,995 mm in length, 1975 mm in width, 1575 mm height and has a 2,566 mm wheelbase with a ground clearance of 189 mm.
The Kylaq is offered with a a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, turbo petrol engine with 115 hp of power and 178 nm of torque. Gearbox options will include a 6-speed torque converter and a 6-speed manual gearbox.

On the side, it looks similar to the outgoing car and gets newly designed multi-spoke alloy wheels and the wing mirror placement has moved from the pillar to the door. At the rear, the new Amaze looks very similar to the City. The tail-lamps, boot lid design, and rear bumpers closely resemble those of the City, maintaining a similar family look.
Moving inside, the overall interior layout will look similar to the Elevate. The sedan features a free-standing infotainment system with a digital cluster. Other expected features include automatic climate control, connected car tech, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, multiple airbags, ABS, EBD and also sensor based ADAS system.
The new Amaze will retain the same engine, a 90hp, 1.2-litre, 4-cyl, NA petrol engine with a choice of a 5-speed manual or CVT automatic transmission. The new Camry in its 9th generation gets a new design, fresh interior, additional features, safety and more and will be offered only with a sole petrol hybrid engine option. The new Camry will be brought to India via the Completely Knocked Down (CKD) route and is expected to be priced from Rs 48 lakh (ex-showroom) and the deliveries will begin in 2025. At front, it gets new headlamp design integrated with a black element that spans the front of the vehicle. The sedan also features a honeycomb-patterned grille, painted to match the body color, extending toward the lower section of the car. While the overall silhouette remains similar to the previous model, the roofline appears more sloped, and the rear quarter glass is larger and more angled.
At rear, the changes are minimal with redesigned tail lamps and rear bumper. Moving inside, the interior is all new and again it follows Toyota’s global design language with a new interior layout. It gets a 7.

The new Kia Syros will be positioned between the Sonet and Seltos, let’s take a look at everything we know so far. The company has been releasing multiple teasers with each revealing design and feature details.
Teaser images suggest that it will have a boxy silhouette with a flat roof and an upright rear, to liberate maximum cabin space.
