Acting as the host and musical guest, Charli XCX starred on Saturday Night Live and called out Martha Stewart for 'brat' behavior during her monologue.

Charli XCX has officially declared Martha Stewart is a brat. After coining the term brat summer, Charli XCX’s latest album reached the top of the charts surpassing Beyonce’s Cowboy Carter and Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department . The singer performed the album’s first track, 360, while hosting the latest episode of Saturday Night Live .

” “Hoenstly, it’s just like an attitude. It's a vibe,” the singer explained. As she tried to get the audience to understand the term, she used Martha Stewart’s latest documentary as an example.

“When Martha gets mad about an old magazine article and she says that she's glad the journalist who wrote it is dead - that is brat,” she mentioned, before also giving credit to the writer. “And then last Friday, when that exact journalist responded and said ‘Hey! I'm alive b**ch!" that is extremely brat,’” she added. Charli said Stewart “keeping it real” and "vulnerable" is the reason the situation was “very brat.

” The singer concluded the monologue saying: “Honestly though, anyone can be brat.” Fans were very amused by her comments as they rushed to Instagram . Stewart has been vocal about her not being a fan of the new Netflix film. After it was released on October 30, she told The New York Times she felt “very little” footage actually used focused on topics that were “not that important.” “It was just shocking,” she admitted.
