The Kansas City Chiefs enter Week 8 as the only undefeated team in the NFL. The Chiefs will look to keep it that way when they face the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, Oct. 27.
As for Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, who registered just four reception for 17 yards during Kansas City's 28-18 win over the San Francisco 49ers last week, he's due for a breakout game. Thus far this season, Kelce's recorded a total of 28 catches for 245 yards. The 35-year-old All-Pro's stats are a bit surprising considering Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes' pool of healthy wide receivers seems to dwindle each week.
However, Fox Sports and Amazon Prime analyst Charissa Thompson made a big prediction for Kelce in Week 8. @charissajthompson/Instagram Thompson predicts Kelce scores a touchdown against the Raiders at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday, which would mark the veteran's first score of season. If Kelce does score a touchdown, his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, won't be there to see it.
The pop star will be in New Orleans performing her third consecutive Eras tour concert at Caesars Superdome. Thompson, who co-hosts the podcast, "Calm Down," with fellow Fox Sports analyst Erin Andrews, took partial credit for Kelce and Swift's romance. She joked during an appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon in May, "Yes, Jimmy, we are responsible [for setting them up].
” Andrews added, “We’re friends with him, and how could you not be. The guy’s a time. He had mentioned on his podcast that he went to the show, had wanted to meet her afterwards, didn’t get the chance to.
