Chahatt Khanna, from Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, shared how Ram Kapoor supported her during a late-night shoot and recalled an eve-teasing incident. She praised co-star Sakshi Tanwar. Actress Chahatt Khanna, best known for her role in the hit show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, recently recalled a heartfelt moment with co-star Ram Kapoor.
While sharing behind-the-scenes memories, she revealed that Ram supported her during a late-night shoot when someone was bothering her, stepping in to stand up for her. Recalling the incident, Chahatt said, “Ram Kapoor is also very nice and has been very supportive. I remember once, someone had come on the sets of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain.
He was troubling me. Ram fought with him. I became a fan of him that day.
He’s always been very supportive, especially towards women." Chahatt Khanna spoke warmly about her co-stars and referred to Sakshi Tanwar as her “elder sister." “She’s very sweet and exactly the same even today.
That sense of sisterhood, I felt it with Sakshi. She’s one of the nicest people I’ve worked with," Chahatt added. Chahatt Khanna recently also opened up about a horrifying incident of eve-teasing and physical assault that she experienced at the hands of two bikers.
The incident occurred 10–11 years ago when she was with her sister in a car. The actress said that she did not hold back and hit them on the road. However, the bikers ended up beating her too.
In an interview with Hauterrfly, Chahatt Khanna shared that she was driving with her two sisters when the incident took place. She noticed two men on a bike following them and making inappropriate comments. At the time, the car windows were open, and Chahatt clearly heard the men passing vulgar remarks in their local language.
Chahatt Khanna has carved out a successful and steady career over the years. She began her television journey with Hero: Bhakti Hi Shakti Hai and went on to feature in popular shows like Kumkum – Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan, Kaajjal, and Qubool Hai. Her big break came with the role of Ayesha Sharma Kapoor in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, which made her a household name.
