Central Catholic’s Isaac Carr announces college commitment

Previously a commit for Oregon, Isaac Carr is headed to school in North Carolina.

The top boys basketball player in Oregon’s class of 2025 has made his decision. Isaac Carr, who has been one of the state’s top three-point shooters for a couple of years now, announced on Tuesday afternoon that he is committed to Wake Forest. Carr is ranked as the No.

1 recruit in the current senior class, per 247Sports . He had previously been committed to Oregon but decided to decommit back in June . Carr was a big part of the Central Catholic boys basketball team’s state championship run this past winter.



In the Class 6A title game against Roosevelt, Carr led the Rams with 26 points, seven rebounds and seven assists. Carr was a first team all-Mt. Hood Conference selection this winter and a second team all-state honoree .
