Celtic 'revive interest' in winger after watching him in action.

Celtic have reportedly reignited their interest in Belgian winger Michel-Ange Balikwisha. The Scottish Sun claims that scouts from the Scottish Premiership side observed the 23-year-old during his team's 5-1 defeat to Union Saint-Gilloise, where he provided an assist. The Hoops had been linked with a move for the player in January, but a thigh injury halted any potential transfer.

Now fully fit, a potential £5 million summer move is on the cards. Balikwisha's contract with Royal Antwerp expires in the summer of 2026. Back in February, the player said: "Celtic’s interest was concrete, but I chose to stay.

"Leaving with an injury was not ideal. "I'd rather take good care of myself so I could be ready for the play-offs with Antwerp. "We'll see in the summer transfer window.

" Balikwisha is a former Belgium Under-21 international..
