Cellphone repairman steals nude photos, gets decades in prison

GALLIPOLIS, Ohio — A Gallia County cellphone repairman could spend more than 50 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to charges in connection with stealing nude photos from customers’ phones, including those of minors. The Ohio Attorney General’s Office says Calvin Jordan, 27, of Gallipolis, was sentenced Monday to 49 to 51 years in prison. Jordan also must register as a Tier II sex offender.

In February, Jordan pleaded guilty to 40 felony charges, including three counts of pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor, one count of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance, and 36 counts of unauthorized use of computer, cable or telecommunications property..
