The grand finale of Celebrity MasterChef was epic. The contestants gave a tough competition to each other, setting the bar high. Beating Nikki Tamboli, Tejasswi Prakash, Rajiv Adatia and Faisal Shaikh - Gaurav Khanna turned out to be the winner of the first season of Celebrity MasterChef.
He lifted the trophy as he impressed the judges - Chef Vikas Khanna, Chef Ranveer Brar and Chef Sanjeev Kapoor - with his dish and took home the prize money of Rs 20 lakh. Actor reacts The first episode of Celebrity MasterChef MasterClass had Gaurav Khanna and Nikki Tamboli in conversation with previous contestants of MasterChef.
The show began with a video narrating Gaurav Khanna's journey. From his first dish being rejected and criticised to winning the trophy, it was all about praising Gaurav's hard work and dedication. The winner then spoke about his journey on the show and compared it with his acting career.
He mentioned that both had similar trajectory. "My Masterchef journey has been quite similar to my career.Jaise wahan par shuruwat mein takleef hui thi, yahan bhi starting mein thoda alag tha.
It was a new place and I was not from here. The show was out of my comfort zone," he said. Gaurav then joked that he is now not able to detach himself from the Celebrity MasterChef kitchen.

Vikas was all praise for Gaurav Khanna as he said that he is proud of his journey. He mentioned that "Mere pehle bhi bohot Khanne aye and mere baad bhi bohot Khanne ayenge." But he is proud of Gaurav.
