Fans of Celebrity Big Brother have been left stunned following Thursday's episode, which featured the celebrities nominating who they want to be eliminated from the show. The first elimination is scheduled to take place during Friday's episode. The second series of ITV's revamped reality show kicked off on Monday with a live launch show.
Hosts Will Best and AJ Odudu returned to present the new season, welcoming a diverse lineup of famous faces to the show. The first celebrity to be revealed was Chesney Hawkes, followed by Trisha Goddard, Jack P Shepherd, JoJo Siwa, Chris Hughes, and Patsy Palmer. Other notable contestants currently residing in the house include politician Michael Fabricant, TOWIE star Ella Rae Wise, Olympian Daley Thompson, comedian Donna Preston, and former Martin Lewis Money show co-host Angellica Bell.
However, it's Mickey Rourke who has already sparked controversy on the show, leaving fans unimpressed with his behavior. The American actor received a formal warning after making a contentious comment towards JoJo Siwa. Mickey asked the 21 year old Dance Moms star, "Do you like girls or boys?" to which JoJo replied, "Me? Girls.
My partner is non-binary.", reports the Liverpool Echo . Mickey responded by saying to JoJo, "If I stay longer than four days, you won't be gay anymore," before saying "I'm going to vote the lesbian out real quick.
" JoJo overheard the comment and responded, "That's homophobic, if that was your reasoning." It came as no surprise that JoJo named Mickey as her "killer nomination", telling Big Brother that she wants him off the show this week. In the first elimination, while the other celebrities visited the Diary Room one by one to declare who they wanted to eliminate.
As the episode concluded, Mickey Rourke was joined by Jack P. Shepherd and Michael Fabricant as the three celebrities facing the public vote ahead of Friday night's eviction. Chris had earned immunity from the launch night task, whereas Mickey granted Daley immunity, making them exempt from nominations by their fellow housemates this week.
Notably, Trisha received no nominations from her fellow celebrities. Viewers witnessed Jack and Michael receiving the most nominations from their housemates. Jack received eight nominations from Angellica, Chesney, Danny, Donna, Ella, JoJo, Patsy, and Trisha, while Michael received seven nominations from Angellica, Chris, Daley, JoJo, Mickey, Patsy, and Trisha.
The celebrities found Jack to be overly observant and unsociable, failing to check in on his housemates after the earlier chaos. JoJo remarked, "Jack is just Jack. If you lose your water bottle, he's not going to help you find it.
" Supporters flocked to social media upon learning of the threat to Jack. One fan posted: "WHY IS JACK GETTING ALL THE NOMINATIONS STOP."
