The 'Noisy Daughters: In Discussion with Kate Fox' session, starting at 11am, is one of two events organised in collaboration with Tracks and Darlington Hippodrome to celebrate International Women's Day. The sessions aim to champion women in the creative sector from the North East and will include opportunities for the audience to ask questions. The event will be informal, and organisers have stated that it will be run on a donations basis, with very limited tickets available, which must be booked in advance.

(Image: Hippodrome) Kate Fox, a regular on Radio 4, has been the poet in residence for Glastonbury Festival and is the author of 'Where There’s Muck There’s Bras: True Stories of The North of England’s Women' as well as poetry collections 'Bigger On The Inside' and 'The Oscillations'. During the session, she will discuss topics such as neurodiversity, untold stories of great women from the North, and her new project about Sycamore Gap. Another session is scheduled for Saturday, March 1, with Newcastle comedian Lauren Pattison.
