Gabriella Cechini made an excellent showing at the Landon Invitational, where she competed alongside her Mercersburg Academy track and field teammates, and raced to victory in the 3200m and 1 mile races. In the girls 3200m varsity race, Cechini crossed the finish line in a time of 11 minutes and 29 seconds. Her dominance in the event was evident, as she finished a 44 seconds ahead of the second-place runner.

Cechini also claimed victory in the 1 mile varsity race, where she clocked a winning time of 5 minutes and 15.86 seconds. : ,.
